Lansing Economic Club: The Spartan Impact - Innovating for a Better Future in Mid-Michigan and Beyond

Description

The October Lansing Economic Club will be held on Oct. 4 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center in East Lansing. The event will feature Michigan State University president, Samuel L. Stanley, Jr., M.D. 

Since becoming president of Michigan State University in 2019, Samuel L. Stanley Jr., M.D., has accelerated the university's reach across key areas in education, research and outreach. He has shepherded the university through the pandemic while at the same time setting records in both fundraising and enrollment. Today, MSU focuses on maintaining a safe, diverse and welcoming university and spurring its excellence and impact across the range of its missions. President Stanley will discuss the spartan impact and how MSU is innovating for a better future in mid-Michigan and beyond.
