
Executive Connections 2.0 is the sequel program to Executive Connections 1.0, offering ongoing confidential discussions and networking to those who have completed Executive Connections 1.0 and wish to continue benefitting from the conversation and professional support.
This group follows a very similar structure, meeting monthly in small confidential groups, and assumes that all attendees are familiar with the eight principles outlined in Becoming Athena: Eight Principles of Enlightened Leadership. Discussions are facilitated, with a wider range of learning opportunities and discussions. Based on the interests of the group, other leadership styles and models can be introduced and discussed. One monthly meeting will be replaced by a full-day field trip to a selected Michigan city, with a goal of learning from women executives by visiting and touring their companies while hearing about their work and their journey.
Executive Connections 2.0 will launch with a reception in September at the University Club (date and time to be determined)/ Meetings will be held monthly from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. from October through June, with a full-day field trip scheduled in April or May.
Cost: $1,000/year
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, with no more than one person accepted from any company. Applicants must be members of Athena WIN.
Meeting Dates/Time:September: Welcome Reception (date TBA); 4:30 - 6:00 p.m., University Club of MSU October: October 11, 8:30 - 10:30 a.m. (combined groups) November through June: Group A: Second Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.Group B: Third Wednesday, from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.Meetings will be held at either the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce or the University Club of MSU. An all-day field trip based on the interests of the group will be announced at a later date and will replace either the April or May meeting.
