2026 ATHENA Lansing Celebration

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce invites the community to the 2026 ATHENA Lansing Celebration, a luncheon on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Lansing. The celebration recognizes women who exemplify professional excellence, community service and mentorship. Established more than four decades ago, the ATHENA Leadership Award honors leaders whose vision and impact create opportunities for other women to grow professionally and personally.

This year’s celebration honors Robyn Howell, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of LAFCU and recipient of the 2026 ATHENA Leadership Award. Since joining LAFCU in 2017, Howell has risen through several leadership roles to her current position, where she works alongside the CEO and board of directors to advance organizational strategy. She serves on the LRCC Board of Directors and is vice chair of the Boys & Girls Club of Lansing Board of Directors.

The celebration also recognizes Alicia Braun, Founder and CEO of Maid To Clean and recipient of the 2027 ATHENA PowerLink® Award. Through this national mentoring initiative, Braun will work with an expert advisory panel throughout 2027 to support the next phase of growth for her commercial janitorial company, which serves businesses throughout Mid-Michigan.
